Online games add to it, LOL. I wish I could feel this way every day of my life. Life itself would get to be much more interesting that it is currently.

I’m working on a mini ‘flea’ market online, on Facebook, to sell or give away books and other things I have home to my friends and classmates. It’s going to be interesting; I’ve had this project in mind for a long, long time, and I’m glad I finally found the courage to put it in practice. ^^ I hope my friends are going to support me.

So, what’s new with Walgreens? There is an ongoing special discount on annual membership for the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club. Practically, for $35 a year a family can buy a membership that will covers everyone from a spouse to kids (under 22) and pets. Once you join then you will get additional discount prices with every prescription.

Individuals – aka, people who live alone, singles – will get a membership for $20 a year.

Of course, there are a lot of other benefits too! First of all, you will save on 8,000 brand-name products and every generic drug available. The, you’ll get a discount on flu shots and other specific things, like nebulizers and diabetic supplies, and when you buy Walgreens brand products and its photofinishing services you will get additional bonuses.

I’m in love with 3-Bedroom houses. They’re small enough, simple and practical, and would make a nice nest for a new family who wishes to have more than one child – just Simone’s and my case, hehe. It would be like in a fairy tale. Beautiful. *_*

So– back to reality. We booked a hotel room in Rome, near Termini, so we can move around Rome in all freedom. The Salario area is a bit far away, so even thinking about commuting from home to there is crazyness. Actually, I wish I found some cheap hotel offer out of Rome to give Simone a REALLY GOOD birthday vacation (yes! it’s a present for his birthday! ^^) but I found nothing, so this is the best I could offer. *sigh* Oh well, he never visited those museums and historical sites, nor have I, so it’s still a win-win situation.

I published a long post about this debate on Honey-Babe.net just a few hours ago, and on Novella.nu before that, but I feel that my readership here should be informed about my views as well.

The debate regards the ongoing dispute between Walgreens and Express Script.

If you’ve read about it, on my blogs or on Yahoo! Finance, etc., you know what Express Scripts did to Walgreens: it kicked it out of its pharmacy provider network, leaving not just Walgreens without a distributor, but thousand and thousand of people across the States without a community pharmacy that sells Walgreens products, and this affects all Walgreens pharmacies in the States, including the Duane Reade pharmacies in New York City. It’s like a widespread plague.

The Walgreens Prescription Savings Club is doing its best to cope with the issue, though. In fact, it’s offering cheap annual memberships – of the value of $5 per individual or $10 only for an entire family – to help customers deal with the sudden lack of product distributors; the deal includes a lot of discounts on brand-name purchases too.

There’s little we can do to help Walgreens through all that, but at least we can ‘LIKE’ Walgreens on Facebook and – if you have a Twitter account – add @Walgreens on Twitter. It’s a little help, but it’s better than nothing. At least, it shows distributors that we CARE about Walgreens.

Walgreens did so much good for its customers, especially for the most disadvantaged communities in the States with the Way to Well Fund™(inclusive of sanitary information and free health tests), the support to US troops through the Tricare health program, and the hundreds of discounts on all products.

It’s time we help Walgreens too. ;3

The title is Tristan Goes to the Vet and it tells the story of a fluffy bichon frisé in 28 pages. The puppy goes to the vet for a check-up and every phase of the visit is described with pictures and short paragraph, probably to show kids how pets are taken care of.

It’s a pretty sweet initiative and I think the author – Trudee Lewis – did a very good job. Tristan (the doggy in the book) is his pet, and from what I can see, he’s very loved too. ^^

The book costs $9.95, which isn’t a bad price, I have to admit. It’s actually reasonable, if you consider the amount of photos the project required.

All that makes me want to write a little story of the same kind, with robots though. Hehe. Who knows? Maybe it can be for my blog about Orion, Erik and other future little robots I want to purchase and cuddle all day. <3

That’s a tough question… I think I would take my computer netbook with me. That’s where I have all my work, my university files, my fiancé’s letters and chats, my contacts. I just couldn’t leave without it!

Well, since we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in Italy, let’s see… It certainly costed me a few tens bucks, as I renewed/bought a pack of domain names. Heh.

Today I browsed some pretty cute Make Up Tutorials and I’ve been following Cosmetics Tips from teen girls’ communities like CosmoGirl and Seventeen… but I feel weird somewhat. I’m no longer used to wearing make-up.

WHY?

Well, I guess the main reasons are:

1. my fiancé doesn’t like kissing me and having all the make-up go from my face to his lips and face. He finds it pretty disgusting;

2. I’m annoyed by the infinite minutes taken to apply decent make-up.

Hence, I wear make-up only very randomly and– seldomly.  I’m naturally pretty. Ahah!

1. When did you last move residences?
   Never. I’ve always lived here, in my parent’s apartment. I haven’t moved out on my own yet– waiting for marriage. <3
2. What song leaves you completely unmoved even though it seems everyone else is moved by it?
   I wouldn’t know. I rarely listen to music anymore, and when I do, it IS moving music… not just to me though.
3. On what kinds of mornings is it easiest for you to jump out of bed and get moving?
   Sunny, tranquil morning. I hate rushing and bad weather… they give me awful migraines. x_X
4. What object do you get most annoyed about when people move it without letting you know?
   My books!
5. In what way are you waiting on someone else to make a move?
   I’m waiting for my old friends to pick up the phone and talk to me. I don’t want to always be the one to do the first move.
