Have you ever visited the blog Death by T-Shirt? :3 It’s one of a kind, informing people about new T-shirt styles and trends.

I took a look just to see what kind of
custom tshirt
style would fit my little Orion and Erik the best. :D My kids move around a lot, especially Orion, and I want something funny and lively on them. Perhaps a couple of sports tshirts? I must try some (cheap) online baby clothes shop, or Cafepress, because it makes custom t-shirts.

It’s been a long time since I last bought clothes for my little ones. I haven’t touched eBay for a long time too. I’m only trying to save money, I know, but I realize my kids need some new pieces of clothing at this time; when the fabric begins to look worn out or broken, well, that’s time to renew the wardrobe. Orion, in particular, uses his clothes a lot and they get broken very easily. We’ll see, though; too many expenses this month. Perhaps on September, as there will be discounts too. :)

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Ramblers Way. All opinions are 100% mine.

As you know, my friends, I live in a small town here in Italy, Genzano di Roma, one of the many provinces of Rome that has continued on with its traditions for centuries. Some things have been lost, culture and social customs have changed with passing decades, but most of our culinary, artistic and religious traditions have been kept. What I noticed, though, is that our local products get rarely exported outside of our town or region. People abroad can’t even imagine what our traditional bread and Infiorata flower-paintings are; unless they come over and try it themselves (Italian restaurants abroad don’t count).

That’s what happens in America as well. Alas. Perhaps in other countries too. I guess the American “Ramblers Way Farm” is one of the few initiatives whose commitment of revitalizing small towns that is going to have a furure. We’d need such kind of companies here in Italy too, instead of an economy and politics all driven to suffocate these town traditions unless they get some financial return from them

I believe historical preservation to be a duty of every city hall, of every citizen. Local traditions are the identity of a certain town, of a people, of a region. Globalization should never touch these precious sources of collective identity; they won’t harm anyone, and increase a people’s feeling of belonging. I don’t believe these cultural identities should be killed in favor of a shameless globalization.

Returning on to the “Ramblers Way Farm” aim at revitalizing small towns’ production, I believe that can make a big difference for the ‘Made in America‘, and I personally approve and support the initiative. America is a wonderful multi-cultural country, each of its people and its towns and its states should always support and take care of their artistic and cultural background. I hope to see more initiatives of this kind. :)

I wish they were without doubts, without dark and sordid thoughts… I hate when people talk that way, act that way, without even knowing people they’re talking about…

I feel slightly depressed. I’m hurt, mostly. There is nothing much I can do about it, aside from going over at their house and see their faces and if there’s ever a heart behind those tick chests. I hope there is, or there is going to be…

I only want to love my little Alberto; forever, in my life. They have to make peace with this idea, because I’m not going to care anymore in the future. This is OUR life, and we’re going to live it the way we want.

What is a mother? Who shall answer this? A mother is a font and spring of life, A mother is a forest in whose heart Lies hid a secret ancient as the hills, For men to claim and take its wealth away; And like the forest shall her wealth renew And give, and give again, that men may live.
