Every time I come home in the evening, I find more unsolicited advertising pamphlets in our mailbox, and I keep on throwing stuff away. My sister likes those pamphlets because she’s curious and she plays with them, but I hate them, because we didn’t ask for them. Requested advertising is welcome, but unsolicited one is NOT!
I’ve been seeking for a way to Stop Junk Mail in months now. I found CatalogChoice, and I wish the service would work here in Italy too. CatalogChoice is well known to have been reducing substantially all the spam mail people get in their home mailboxes. This company checks catalogs, coupons, newsletters and other kinds of potential unsolicited mail people may receive, and will work to force these companies to opt people out of the advertising campaign when it’s unwanted. Oh, I wish we had something like that here in Italy too! >.< Spam is just plainly disgusting, online and offline.
In other news, I’ve been working on n0t.info a lot, and I’m in the process of writing a nice Biography page for myself on Honey-Babe.net. ^_^ I can’t wait to get it up! I missed working on something about myself. Been a while, hehe.

I never thought of that – CatalogChoice it is. But then again, I don’t mind offline spams.

Sometimes I really mind offline spam… because it crows my mailbox.
It’s harder to see important emails with that, and besides, I think it’s a waste of precious paper, because it gets thrown away. It gets in the way much more than online spam.
But that’s how I feel about it. We’re all different. ^^ I’m just glad the US has CatalogChoice… for a choice!

Oh my god I couldn’t agree more! Spam snail mail is terrible… Unfortunately here in Canada we haven’t found a way to get around it either. Usually I just throw it out everytime it comes to the house. Out of 10 pieces of mail only 3 maybe are important? Terrible!
